How to use French press

How to use French press – Starbucks French Press, Bodum French Press or generic?

What you use this is one dynamic way how to make coffee great and that’s what we’re all about here!

I discovered this unique pot and plunger system many years ago and found it makes one heck of a great cup of coffee.

It’s a full flavored blend no matter how dark the roast and all the essential oils are extracted from the ground coffee beans by direct contact with the water in which they sit for about 3-4 minutes depending on taste.

So how does one make it the French way whatever type of press is used?

It’s as easy as pie or at least filter drip.

Step one-turn on the kettle and heat your water to a rolling boil. Then turn it off.

Step two: Grind your beans with a burr coffee grinder or for you aficanados – a manual grinder.

Step Three: Remove the plunger from the glass pot and put the coffee in. Pour in the hot water. Replace the plunger but don’t push it down. Wait three minutes maybe four.

Step Four: Push down the plunger, pour the coffee, drink one of the finest cups of coffee you’ll ever taste.

You’ll thank me for this advice…
