Ice Coffee Recipe - Simple Easy Great Taste
Whatever ice coffee recipe you make and there are lots of them, there are some tips and tricks to make it taste great. And that’s what it’s all about isn’t it?
Real iced coffee is not just pouring stale hot coffee over ice cubes. In fact, ice cubes will water down a great cup. Hint: Freeze some coffee ahead of time in an ice cube container and if you are having friends over and want it to be extra special, why don’t you freeze a couple of beans in each cube. It’s unique and looks great at party time. Here’s a simple recipe and here’s how to do it right. 1. Make it Strong You need a strong flavor to make great iced coffee. So double up on your regular portions of coffee to water and use a dark roast coffee bean. 2. Iced coffee tastes great with sugar. Even those who don’t take sugar in hot coffee will like it this way. Put about a teaspoon per cup just after you brew the coffee and it’s still hot. If you add it when it’s cold the sugar won’t dissolve and you’ll find it at the bottom of your empty cup. 3. Put the container (you can use the coffee pot) in the refrigerator for 3-5 hours or overnight. 4. Pour the chilled coffee into a glass over the frozen coffee cubes and add some cream. 5. Let it sit for minute. Then drink and enjoy! This is a real treat on a hot summer afternoon or evening. The more adventurous among us might try adding a hint of Baileys Irish Cream or Kailua instead of cream.
