K Cup Coffee Makers
Actually Keurig is the only machine in which k cups can be used. Is this a bad thing. Well it's kind of inconvenient if you are trying to fit them into a Senseo 1 cup coffeemaker but in general if you have a Keurig machine they are pretty convenient. Absolutely no mess and very fast. No filter to fool around with. It's inside the k cup along with the coffee which comes in a lot of blends – many of which are pretty darn tasty. There's the Mini B30, the Elite B40, the Special Edition, the Platinum B70 and the Breville. My wife is buying a Mini to take to work. Although the k cups are pricy – about 50 cents each – it still beats paying almost $2.00 for a coffee shop coffee. We're putting our savings into a piggy bank towards our next trip to Florida!
The k cup coffee comes in about 80 blends of coffee tea and hot chocolate and the machine came with a variety pack so you can try out quite a few. Our favourite was Newmans Own Fair Trade Organic Extra Bold but Green Mountain Extra Bold is pretty darned good as well. |
