Keurig B60 Special Edition Keurig Coffee Brewer Review
Reviewing the Keurig B60 Special Edition K Cup Coffee Maker.
The Keurig Special Edition Coffee Maker is one step up from my B40 Elite. It's got a few more bells and whistles with extra chrome which gives it an additional sparkle although the B40 looks pretty darn good in my kitchen. The Special Edition is Keurig's mid-luxury machine for home K Cup coffee makers and besides the extra chrome, it has a blue back lit LCD display and has 3 cup size options instead of the B40's two. Really it's just a gussied up Keurig B 40. My wife and I found in our Taste Test challenge that the 8 ounce cup produced by our B40 gave the best taste as the 10 ounce diluted the K-Cups flavor. The Special Edition has added a 6 ounce cup which may delight those who want a stronger cup of coffee. Besides the fast cup of coffee all Keurigs produced and the lack of mess - virtually no clean up - we loved the taste of the coffee. It's really excellent and lots of varieties. And it's great for parties. Guests can brew their own cup and everyone can have something different. We can see why the single cup coffee makers are really taking off with consumers. Really good coffee, fast and no clean up. Only drawback for some may be the cost of the K Cups. But when I want a coffee fast when I'm working -there's no grinding, getting out filters, and it produces one cup in about 60 seconds provided the machine is on...very nice! Programmable features include a Digital Clock, Adjustable Temperature and Auto On/Off. The 48 oz. removable water reservoir holds up to eight cups before refilling and for the removable drip tray allows for easy cleaning and the use of travel mugs.
