Melitta Coffee Pods

Melitta Coffee Pods Good Alternative to K-Cup Coffee.

Originally made for the manufacturers coffee maker MyCup which is now out of production the pods are still being sold by some retailers and online through the manufacturers website and such online retailers such as Amazon.com.

Melitta one:one java pods are single serve coffee refills that are round in shape and fit all pod type coffee makers. They are kosher, and high quality beans (Melitta only accepts 2% of the beans it samples for the one:one pods) and each pod can be used twice.

Individually wrapped, they retain flavor freshness as opposed to Senseo pods which are packaged together in a pouch.

They have numerous blends including medium roast, dark roasts, kona blends, decaffeinated, hazelnut flavored, french vanilla flavored, creme brule flavored, parisian cafe blend, columbian supremo, and french roast.

Melitta is a German company, well known to most of us and also known for it's high quality coffees.

It can be used in Keurig one cup coffee makers with a pod holster and this can be a cheaper option than K-Cups.

Sometimes called coffee pads in Germany and other parts of Europe they look a little like round tea bags.

Originally developed by Senseo for it's one cup coffee system other companies now manufacture and market pods that can be used in Senseo as well as other one cup makers.

Competitors include K-Cup coffee makers which use only K-Cups and T-Disc coffee makers. The best know K-Cup coffee maker is Keurig and Tassimo by Braun used use the T-Disk system.

There are even espresso pod whcih can be used in single serve brewers which produces a pretty good espresso coffee without a lot of muss and fuss.

You put the espresso pod into a a pod adapter in your espresso machine or you can put it it into a pod brewer.
