Does the Phillips Senseo Coffee Maker Make Coffee Better Than Keurig or Tassimo?
Does the Philips Senseo Coffee Maker Make Coffee Better Than Keurig or Tassimo?
Better than Keurig or Tassimo? All these machines are rated well by consumers and Senseo is no different. The fact that Keurig is winning the race is not because the coffee tastes any better. All these machines produce good coffee fast with no muss or fuss. Keurig has it’s K-cups and Tassimo the T-Disc while Senseo uses coffee pods from Douwe Egberts a European company that has produced excellent coffee blends for over 250 years. The Phillips models have a mild pressure system with water heated in the boiler to a consistent 205 degrees fahreinheit which is forced through the premeasured coffee pods evenly every time. Once the water goes through the pods it goes through a pinhole in the pod tray into a patented “frothing chamber” and aerated to produce a frothy brew right into the cup. One pod creates a single serving and two a double serving in about 45 seconds which is about 15 seconds faster than the other models. It’s fast easy to use – no muss, no fuss, no messy filters – you just toss away the pods and you’re done. Senseo offers not only four original blends, Mild, Medium, Dark, and Decaffeinated, but also Paris Vanilla Bistro, Killarney Irish Creamery, Vienna Hazelnut Waltz, Senseo Sumatra, and Senseo Cappuccino. I own a Keurig but I would consider a Senseo coffee machine for my next single cup coffee maker.
