How do we achieve this state of bliss?

So what’s the first step?

Well since coffee is about 98% water – pure, good tasting water is a must.

Second, we need the best possible bean.  So how do we achieve this.  

Third we need the best possible grinder.

Fourth we need the best possible brewer based most times our budget.

And many of us also want it fast.

Others don’t mind working a little.

My wife and I have different ways of achieving this. 

She prefers a one cup no mess system. Get up make it drink it and go to work. We bought a Keurig Elite and here's our experience.

I get up a little earlier. I am a traditionalist starting from scratch.

But I have found that when I don’t feel like grinding the beans, boiling the water and waiting for the coffee to steep I use our Keurig Elite and it makes a pretty good cup of coffee.

Not perfect at least compared to my traditional methods but fast.
